We are delighted that our next lecture will be delivered by Joseph Murphy, a local historian.
Joseph wrote a book titled ‘The Redingtons of Clarinbridge -Leading Catholic Landlords in the 19th Century’ and has produced a number of publications on local history.
The talk ‘Researching your local heritage’ will look at sources of local history, some tips for carrying out good research and Joseph’s own experience of researching and recording local history.
