Oranmore Heritage Lecture Series – ‘The restoration of St. Mary’s Church’

We are delighted to announce our next Oranmore Heritage lecture – ‘The Restoration of St. Mary’s Church in Oranmore’.
Completed in 1803, St. Mary’s Church served the parish of Oranmore until 1972 when it was replaced with the newer, larger Church of the Immaculate Conception. St. Mary’s was deconsecrated and ultimately restored to become a public library.
This lecture will take place on Wednesday, 10th March at 7.45 and will be delivered by Frank Furey B.E., a member of the St. Mary’s Church Restoration Committee.
